Lungarno Collection, owned by the Ferragamo family is expanding and announces the opening of a new boutique hotel in Florence. In April it will finally be possible to book one of the 34 suites of the Portrait Firenze, elegant retreat overlooking the Arno river and Ponte Vecchio. One can hardly imagine a better portrait of the city… The name of the hotel is evocative of the image which it frames celebrating the history of Florence. Inside the hotel photographs and unique collectible objects will bring the visitors back to the 50s, when in Florence the first ateliers of high end Italian fashion brands were opening in the city center.
