RC Costruzioni, through meticulous work of renovation and refurbishment has brought back to its original splendor the Westin Exclesior in Florence. The hotel is situated in a Florentine heritage building overlooking the Arno river and surrounded by the winding medieval streets which encircle Piazza Ognissanti.
RC Costruzioni intervened in the historical center of one of Italy’s most famous art cities, operating on a building dating back to the Renaissance years and carrying out a renovation project which added a modern and contemporary touch to the hotel. The result incorporates both style and design elements perfectly blended together.
RC Costruzioni has executed the restoration of the façades, the interior design of all the 171 bedrooms, from the stone floors of the bathrooms to the precious woods utilized for the parquet flooring, curtains, tapestry and the private swimming pool situated on the balconies overlooking the Arno river, for the suites located on the top floor of the building.
All the materials utilized were exclusively fabricated or produced locally.
All details reflect the quality and elegance of a Made in Italy work. The work has been completed in only 4 months thanks to the outstanding logistical organization deployed by RC Costruzioni. As an example of excellence on site planning, RC Costruzioni had set up its own warehouse where all the hotel furniture was transferred for the duration of the project and resettled once the work was completed.
